Samsung's Galaxy AI is evolving into a multi-agent ecosystem, integrating seamlessly with Perplexity AI. Internal research reveals that users prefer a diverse range of AI agents, with nearly 80% regularly utilizing more than two. To meet this demand, Samsung is enhancing Galaxy AI, enabling multi-agent support for a smoother user experience. This integration will occur at the OS level, ensuring seamless and consistent updates with the familiar Galaxy interface. Users can control multiple agents without switching apps or repeating commands, providing a more natural interaction. The first new AI agent, Perplexity, can be summoned by voice or side button, and will be featured on upcoming Galaxy S26 devices. Perplexity will be deeply integrated into Samsung's first-party apps, including Gallery, Notes, Calendar, Clock, and Reminder, and will also work with select third-party applications. It excels at handling multi-step workflows. Samsung's commitment to an open, inclusive AI ecosystem is evident, offering users choice, flexibility, and control. The company aims to simplify complex tasks with Galaxy AI as the orchestrator, bringing together diverse AI functionalities into a unified, natural experience. Additionally, Samsung recently unveiled an upgraded Bixby for One UI 8.5, enhancing system settings and providing real-time web searches for up-to-date answers.
